CAWGM is a space to relax, connect, grow, and uplift one another.
We are a private group of Cameroonian women in Greater Manchester who share a commitment to ambition, honesty, and mutual support. We come together every two months to connect, unwind, share challenges, and uplift one another through meaningful conversation and celebration.
We are a group of driven, passionate, and hardworking Cameroonian women living in Greater Manchester. The Cameroonian Ambitious Women of Greater Manchester (CAWGM) was created in October 2025 to bring together like-minded women with an entrepreneurial mindset who are navigating busy careers, businesses, and family lives, but still crave meaningful connection, celebration, and mutual support.
We meet every two months to relax, connect, and support each other in achieving our goals.
To create a safe, inspiring, and supportive space for Cameroonian women in Greater Manchester who are ambitious, hardworking, and passionate about what they do.
To connect, inspire, and empower Cameroonian women in Greater Manchester through meetups filled with support, laughter, learning, and celebration.

Membership is by invitation or referral
No fees or subscriptions. Each member pays for their own food/drink or any expenses at meetups
We are not a business, charity, or legal entity. This is an informal community group of peers
Participation is voluntary and informal
We meet bi-monthly to connect, share ideas, celebrate success, and tackle life’s challenges together. Our members come from diverse professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds, all bonded by the same spirit of excellence and sisterhood.
Meetup Style: Every two months (1st Saturday, Friday or Sunday), rotating between restaurants, cafes, and fun venues. At least twice a year: let loose with a night out!
Leaving the Group: You may leave the group at any time by sending a short message to the founder via WhatsApp or email. No explanation is required, but feedback is welcome.
Breach of Code of Conduct
To maintain a respectful and safe environment, the following system applies:
1. Warning System
You will receive a written warning from the founder with details of the behaviour and the date it occurred (e.g. 'On June 3, you said/did XYZ…').
2. Three-Strike Rule
After three documented warnings, your membership will be terminated.
3. Immediate Dismissal
In cases of serious harm (e.g. bullying, hate speech, harassment), immediate removal may occur without prior warnings.
Structure
Founder-led: One founder coordinates and maintains the group and the website.
Flat membership: No formal roles or hierarchy. All members are equals.
Flexible participation: Members attend meetups and support each other based on availability and interest.
